I've got another Polybrute track coming tomorrow (a wonderful massive pad sound), but in the next couple of weeks I'm hoping to have a Rev2 patch from scratch, a Sub37 patch from scratch or new Fun with Arps episode and then...the NYMPHES!! Should be arriving on the 17th, so I'll try my hardest to get something recorded over the weekend for next week's video.
May get another livestream going soon too!

This week's video is running late (i.e. not recorded lol) but I'm thinking of doing a patch from scratch - which synth would you like to see? No guarantees, something else may strike me at the time!

Evening team ❤️ just a heads up that there will be some small changes to the channel this weekend. I'm going to be rebranding slightly to "Lost Clouds ([actual name])" as part of a push to get involved in more serious sound design and compositional work.
The content on the channel will remain heavily synthesiser focused, though potentially including the use of more sample libraries in tandem with the synths - things like patch from scratch videos will continue in full force, and I hope to keep bringing you exciting synthy content for a long time!!
The only non-synth content that will be coming is my entry to the Spitfire Audio scoring competition which has to be uploaded publicly. Hopefully you all still enjoy that!

Just a quick poll - I'm potentially going to be rebranding to my actual name as part of a shift to taking the sound design/composition side of my work more seriously
I just need to think about how this might affect people's perceptions of my videos - so what makes you click?

Hello!!
I'm planning on doing a lot more 'patch from scratch' videos, where I either show how to program a patch I've already made or start recording and see where it goes. One problem with these videos is that text annotations take a loooong time to edit in and can sometimes be a bit harder to follow. Sooooo one idea I've had is to pick up a mic and start doing some voice overs, where I talk through my thought processes in real time whilst making the patch.
Question is, would you prefer:
- videos with text annotations only - takes longer to edit and is slightly soul draining so may lead to less of them, but no interruption from voice
or
- real-time voice-over explaining what I'm doing as I'm doing it, obviously leaving lots of time for the synth to be heard, but with interruption from voice
In both cases I'm still planning on putting out lots of pure music, without any voice-overs or interruptions etc, so that won't be affected!
