With energetic and organic raps, a versatile flow, and unbelievable lyrical wit, 23 year old hip-hop writer and producer Zach Trybula has made quite an impact in the Chicago Metropolitan Area. Influenced by artists like Mac Miller, Kendrick Lamar, and Eminem, Trybula tells the story of his life through his music, even if it’s not always about girls and money. Breaking away from the mainstream “modern rap,” Trybula masterfully stands true to himself and, through his songs, is able to convey his emotions and outlook on life through his unique sound (see “Callin’,” released August 2019). He has often been praised for creating music that real people can listen and relate to.
Known on most streaming platforms as “Lil Zib” (due to his short height), Trybula has released 30+ tracks since he began creating music in 2015. Featured on producer Theisy’s album “Something Slight,” Trybula spends a lot of time working with local artists to develop his network and to better support local musicians.
