Soaking up the last of these fall colors! We didn’t expect to see an aspen grove while in Oregon, so we were pretty pumped when we stumbled upon this!

We've been living out of our 19 Ft Airstream, but this week we're taking a break from RV Life to stay on a ranch (with llamas!!! 😱😍) in Boulder, Wyoming outside of the Wind River Mountain Range. We have such a fantastic week taking it slow, enjoying nature and of course, getting out on some hiking trails!

Hiking up to Sawtooth Lake is one of the most popular hikes in the Sawtooth Mountains, so we were surprised (and felt very lucky) when the trail wasn’t crowded on a weekend morning!
The trail is about 10 miles round trip with 1800 ft of climbing.
You first pass Alpine Lake (pictured in the second photo) which was STUNNING. I’d be happy if that’s the only lake we got to hike to that day! Then, you continue on and up to Sawtooth Lake.
Absolutely gorgeous! Unfortunately this trail is closed at the moment due to wildfires in the area, so we’re very grateful we had a chance to hike it this summer prior to that.

Stanley, Idaho is one of our very favorite towns, and the Sawtooth mountains hold such a special place in our hearts.
We are grateful to have been able to recently spend time in this special place and explore the beautiful trails, lakes and mountains.
Our campground was evacuated due to wildfires soon after we left. So scary and sad for the people and animals in the area.
