About
Ken Giles is a violin/viola teacher at DC Youth Orchestra Program and a singer with DC Labor Chorus. He teaches students the history intertwined with the songs. Ken was a member of Bright Morning Star and sang peace songs, labor songs, and civil rights songs. In 1965, Ken Giles was a Senate Page and saw the passage of the Voting Rights Act which helped make him an activist.
