New single dropping tomorrow! This time I've covered the main theme from Dune, using my own sonic palette – atmospheric synths, various electric guitar tones, etc. Hope you'll like it – stay tuned! (Btw, I'm already hard at work on the track for February, the theme from Gris.)

I know it's been a while, but I finally finished a new track and it should be out in a week or so. I was inspired by Ólafur Arnalds and ‪@DGPianoUK‬ to make an arrangement of the main theme from Outer Wilds, such a simple and beautiful tune. While my version is quite different from the original I tried to honor the raw and intimate feel by incorporating a lot of folky vocals. Hope you'll like it! And thank you for your patience and support—it means a lot.

Hey friends, this has been a bad year for me music wise (hope to get back in the saddle soon), but here's a new track from ‪@PontusHultgren‬ with me on lead guitar. Happy Halloween!

I've launched a new project called Nóttavi (named after a village in Sweden that doesn't exist anymore – it means 'nightly sanctuary'). It's a collaboration with my illustrator friend Saga-Mariah (www.sagamariah.se/) – acoustic & organic music to go with her visuals. The first release is a track called 'Awake', made up of guitar flageolets:

Hello everyone, I'm releasing two new original tracks in March! The first one is called 'Sunset Loop' and will be out on streaming platforms on March 1st, if you're using Spotify or Apple Music you can pre-save the track here:

I just got a Moog Grandmother analog synth and was inspired to make a Tycho-esque, fat & sleepy kind of lead sound. Then I recorded a simple guitar loop to play on top of and the whole thing grew into an ambient yet upbeat track. I think it sounds a bit like if Tycho made a song for Night in the Woods, heh. The YouTube video is ready, I'll post it when the track is out and I have all the links, hopefully this weekend.

The second track is called 'Awake' and is the first one for a separate project...that has to do with plants...? More on that later. 🌿

Finally past 700 subscribers – thank you! Right now I'm pondering what I should focus on next. When it comes to VGM I know some of you like the JRPG stuff while others are more into indie game music like NITW or TUNIC. I still haven't figured out if working with different styles is good or bad, and I see no pattern in what works and what doesn't (like the huge difference in popularity between my NITW covers). So let's do a poll! What would you like me to explore next?

Hey people, hope you're doing well! I need your help. I'm 240 followers away from gaining access to the new marketing tools on Spotify (like sponsored recommendations), so if you're a Spotify user please hit that follow button if you haven't done so already. Thank you!

Btw, the next release is on the way. Have been bogged down in other work for the last few weeks, but I'll have more time for music soon.

Dear listeners, this is really puzzling. This is how many streams my NITW tracks get on Spotify every month. As you can see the first 5-track EP I released is doing 4+ times better than the second (half of those streams is my piano cover of Die Anywhere Else). And the last five tracks I released (as part of the NITW collection) are getting half as many streams as Possum Springs. These numbers are super consistent month after month. I haven't gotten the impression that people like every new release half as much as the previous one, so I find this really strange. If I spend hours upon hours making yet another EP, is that then going to be listened to half as much as Batter Up, Mae's House, etc? Would love to hear your thoughts on this. Cheers!
