The MQ-9 Reaper (originally Predator B) is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) developed by General Atomics Aeronautical Systems (GA-ASI) for use by the United States Air Force, United States Navy and Royal Air Force. The MQ-9 is a hunter-killer UAV designed for high survivability and high-altitude surveillance.
The MQ-9 is larger and more advanced than its predecessor, the MQ-1 Predator. It can use the MQ-1's ground systems. In American military operations in Afghanistan and Iraq, the MQ-9 is equipped with AGM-114 Hellfire missiles and is used to hunt and destroy targets.
It can carry a payload of up to five tons, has a maximum speed of 230 mph at 50,000 feet, and can fly as far as 3,682 miles. It has an IR targeting sensor, laser rangefinder,,and synthetic aperture radar. The MQ-9 can be easily disassembled and transported to various locations. #uav #mq-9reaper #usa #us #airforce #military #militarytechnology #usmilitarytech

US Sanctions Lockheed Martin as Hundreds of F-35 Fighter Jets Pile Up at Factory?
The United States (US) lost patience and imposed sanctions on Lockheed Martin, due to delays in fulfilling Pentagon orders.
The sanction is in the form of withholding payment of 5 million US dollars (around Rp 79.7 billion) for each aircraft ordered.
In addition, the US Department of Defense (Pentagon) will not accept the Lockheed Martin-made aircraft until all contract clauses are met, especially the Technology Refresh 3 (TR-3) upgrade.
TR-3 is an upgrade to the F-35's critical computer-processing electronic system.
TR-3 will allow pilots the most advanced capabilities against any enemy weapon.
TR-3 also improves missile strike precision, more advanced radar systems, as well as cross-platform interoperability.
The TR-3 upgrade also increases the sophistication of data analysis, giving the latest Pentagon-ordered F-35 an edge over other fifth-generation fighter jets.
In fact, this ambitious program expects the F-35 to be unmatched by any other aircraft. The latest F-35 aircraft is included in the Joint Strike Fighters.
However, Lockheed Martin apparently failed to develop the TR-3 that is embedded in the F-35 aircraft ordered by the Pentagon.
In fact, according to the 2022 contract, the Pentagon invited Lockheed Martin to the Joint Strike Fighters program by ordering 398 units of F-35 aircraft.
The number is very fantastic and the contract value reaches 9 billion US dollars (around Rp 478 trillion). A number of these aircraft are not only for the US military but also for international partners and sales to other countries militaries.

ncle Sam's New Fighter Jet Could Make Traditional Warfare Insignificant, Why?
The U.S. Air Force is planning to deploy a âsixth-generationâ fighter in 2030. Prototypes of this aircraft, never before seen by the public, have already flown in secret. There is not a lot the public knows about the U.S. Air Forceâs new fighter jet.
But one thingâs for sure: technologists and engineers at Raytheon Intelligence & Space are working on the very same kinds of systems they believe will bring the kind of technical superiority the military wants its new plane to deliver. They are not designing the aircraft. They are designing systems (sensors, communications, electronic warfare and more) that they hope will one day provide overwhelming technical superiority over enemies in the air.
Our experts have six bold predictions for sixth-generation fighters:
