Welcome! To my awkward transitional phase... This channel, which was once a movie review channel, then a video essay channel, then a channel for semi-humorous roundtable discussions of films, is changing once again. Hopefully for the last time. In the SEVERAL YEARS since my last video, I've been writing fiction and working toward improving as a writer. In fact, I am now 4 weeks away from a degree in Creative Writing and English. As my focus in life changes so will my channel. Over the next year, I will FINALLY put out some new videos, but these will have a more literary focus. I'm sure I'll still talk about movies, but I also intend to talk about my own writing, my process, and even share my writing in the form of audiobooks and short story readings. In the meantime, things will be a little weird. Just pretend there's a 'Work In Progress' sign hanging across my channel for the next few months. I'll see you soon!

Humans Talking About Movies is officially DEAD. It’s been 2 years since I’ve uploaded a video, and we’ve all moved on to other endeavors. Making videos for this channel was a blast! I appreciate everyone who ever watched or contributed.
I’m not deleting the channel (or taking down any of the videos), but I do plan on repurposing it. I’d like to be able to use the channel as a personal outlet to post… whatever I want. I write fiction, so I may read some of that or talk about the writing process. Jensen and I also make music, so you may see some of that occasionally. I may even talk about a movie every now and then. Who knows what you’ll see if you stick around.
Thanks to everybody who ever watched an HTAM video, and I hope to see you next time I post something.
