Inkwizycja (in english: Inquisition) is a Polish hardcore/punk band formed 1989 in Kraków by Dariusz Eckert and Krzysztof "Żółw" Turchan (previously of Ustawa o Młodzieży).
In 1991 they released the first DIY punk record from Poland, "...Na własne podobieństwo...", on the label Nikt Nic Nie Wie. They were one of the most popular bands in Poland’s punk scene of the 90's. One of their concerts was banned by a local bishop who was angered from seeing posters for a Inkwizycja and Amen concert in his town.
Their second album, "Stare Fotografie", was released in 2002 and featured a new recording of the 5 songs from EP "Słowo" released 4 years earlier.
In 2013 - after reunion - band released a single "Powiedziałem" and in 2014 full length album "Wojny nie będzie".
