Hi there and welcome to my channel. I was inspired to create this channel having tried numerous diets like strictly clean eating, low carb diets, low calorie diets and counting macro nutrients to help me lose and maintain my weight. Now dont get me wrong, these diets or " ways of eating" should I say, are all great, and each have there own benefits to the body. However, they are all restrictive in nature and although counting macro nutrients has helped me a lot, it feels like a chore and this to me is not sustainable. And so, I've been looking for other ways that arent as restrictive and tedious. And have found that the only way to truly enjoy food (without limitations or guilt) is simply by following the 80/20 principle. Eat well (whole foods) 80% of the time, and treat yourself (to whatever you like) 20% of the time.
