I'm gonna make it a poll because apparently yt shows it to more people if it's a poll, and I really need this to reach as many of yew as possible:
I always received comments on my Lorne songs about them being "wasted" with Lorne - wich I take as a compliment. Whale... what if some of these were actual songs, performed by actual singers and stuff?
I've been thinking about creating a new project, with some of my Lorne songs being re-recorded by actual artists, and see how it goes.
So, I ask: are you a singer? Can you record your vocals? If you are, and can, please read this carefully:
- This project doesn't involve money - if it happens, it will be just a new channel, named after the project;
- Credits will be given to the performers (if and how they want);
- Any money the project eventually makes will be used to pay the artists (not Lorne);
- I need actual singers (male and female), that can perform those songs as actual songs;
- You don't need to be a professional singer, or have very expensive gear, but some level of quality is needed;

Hello everyone. Last sunday I had a great live chat with @ClobberingTime , and we discussed a little bit about doing a Lorne song using only his best minisyllables (a suggestion from the community). The issue is: it would be impossible for me to go through hundreds of calls finding those out, so, if any of yew wish to help me with it, here's how: if you're listening to Lorne and find a good minisyllable, put the link here in the comments. This is directed to those who engaged in my community post about showing you how I make the songs. Here's the main reason why I wasn't able to do it yet:
English is not my native language, so when I'm having actual conversations, it's kind of ok... but I discovered, after trying for three nights straight, that I'm very bad at talking by myself, I stumble all the time, I get frustrated, I feel miserable, and give up.
Anyway, here's what I did: I recorded a video basically redoing/re-recording the whole chorus for "RAWD!" from scratch (drums, bass, guitars and vocals), but it won't feature myself talking. I'm posting it tomorrow. This is going to be the first of a short series of videos I'm going to do until all of your questions and comments are addressed.
Also, I created a Discord channel and my idea for it is to make myself available there as much as possible for conversations (voice-to-voice) about music/production. I hope I'm not sounding stupid here, but I think it could really help improve my communication skills.
