Using the highly sophisticated method of keeping my finger on the screen, I just found out recharging a weapon with a grand soul gem gives exactly 60% of the xp from enchanting an item.
Now it's only a matter of reasonably splitting ~232 soul gems worth of xp and integrating it into the build.
