I'm Shannon Newby, a writer, filmmaker, book publisher, and educator. I made the national Public Television series Heavy Sedation, and the feature film Dirty Laundry (Air it Out), I also founded Out the House Media LLC, the student media organization Video Visionaries, and the comic book publishing company Snooby Comics. I'm happy to share how it all came to be and I got a whole bunch of stories of what I learned throughout the journey.
