"Comme un voyage" is a suite of solo pieces, ranging from oriental music, to tango, to baroque, Celtic and romantic music. A technical and musical progression is proposed to allow students to achieve the different fundamental points of instrumental acquisition, while traveling through varied musical styles.

Édith Piaf wrote Hymne à l'amour while thinking of the man she loved, the boxer Marcel Cerdan, whom she met in 1948 in New York, where she was on tour. In early 1949, the couple bought a house in Boulogne-Billancourt: it was in this interior that she wrote what would become one of her greatest hits.
Arranged by Albert Lasry, the song was registered on July 28, 1949 and approved by SACEM on August 82. Marguerite Monnot is said to have been inspired by Robert Schumann's Lied Frühlingsnacht when composing the music. Initially, Édith Piaf is said to have offered Hymne à l'amour to Yvette Giraud, who would only record it after her death in 1965.

Elvis Presley recorded Can't Help Falling in Love on September 25, 1961, at Radio Recorders Studios in Hollywood for the film Blue Hawaii. The song (take 29) was first released on the film's soundtrack on October 1 of that year, and then as a single on November 22 (RCA 47-7968) with the song Rock-A-Hula Baby on the B-side. Can't Help Falling In Love reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, and number one in Great Britain. On March 30, 1962, the single was certified gold by the RIAA. The movie version is take 233.
