Hello everyone, as iโm sure most of you all know by now CapCut will most likely get banned along with TikTok if the bill in the US passes. I want to try and be as helpful as possible and give some tips to help any of you who might need it.
1. Make a note of your imported fonts.
If you have imported fonts in CapCut, go make a list of ALL the font names you used in case they disappear. I strongly recommend all editors always have a list on hand incase you accidentally delete or move your fonts to a different app.
2. Start looking for alternatives.
Ive been testing and trying out some apps and InShot and Alight Motion have been the most similar for my style however I recommend trying to find something that works for you.
Try to not overthink too much. The best advice I can give is donโt let a corporation stop you from making what you love. We editors have to adapt and make do with what we have and the resources weโre given, even if it has limitations. As for what ill do. Alight Motion is my best option right now, itโll take some time to adjust as Iโve been using CapCut for more then 3 years its something Ive made peace with. I know with you guys supporting me, this transition will be smoother then I anticipate. Please let me know if I can assist you all in anything. ๐๐
