Alex Markham is a musician, producer and composer based in South East London. He established himself firmly on the retrowave scene in 2021 with 'Cruel Love', a collaboration with New Zealand-based vocalist JJ Mist, which became the genesis of synth-pop duo Markham & Mist. He is also a longtime member of UK metal band Shaft of Steel.
As a producer, Alex works primarily in the R&B and Neo Soul genres.
