Coming out of Compton, California Roddy Ricch combines introspective rhymes and melodic trap. Influenced by various artists and styles, Roddy Ricch began recording at 16, releasing his debut mixtape in 2017. Roddy Ricch would break through in 2018 with the single "Die Young,'' and top the Billboard 200 with his debut album 'Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial' in 2019, which included the hit song "The Box." In 2020, Roddy Ricch would follow up on the success of 'Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial' with a Grammy win for Best Rap Performance as a feature on Nipsey Hussle's "Racks In the Middle" along with fellow LA producer Hit-Boy. In 2024, Roddy is preparing to release his third studio album 'The Navy Album'.
