Chelsea is the creator and host of the "Sew like a Pro" summits. She is an experienced, professional sewist offering one-on-one consults and live virtual classes.
She started her first sewing project at the age of eleven, and sewed her first formal gown at thirteen. She continued to pursue her passion by designing and drafting her own patterns, always with an emphasis on formal gowns.
After high school, she secured employment at a local bridal boutique as their exclusive seamstress. Wanting to pursue her dream of design, she completed an apprenticeship program in Germany with honours 10 years ago, and now holds the certificate of a Fashion Seamstress.
Once completing her program, she opened her own bridal boutique specializing in custom gowns in both design and fit. Chelsea now uses her knowledge and love of sewing to offer live one-on-one sessions that include fitting and pattern adjustment demos, live mini tutorials and expert tips tailored for your sewing projects.
