Soul Damn Funky first started life as a club event in Brighton and was the only party in town specialising in deep, soulful & credible funky house, U.S garage and everything in-between.
Every Friday night the funky soulful grooves were served up by Brighton house connoisseurs: Mick Fuller, Queen Josephine, Gary Eeks, Kate Wildblood, Mark Cooper, Mickey Cee, The Analysir, Curley Deb and Russell Ruckman and not forgetting the headliners which included DJ Romain, CJ Mackintosh, Paul Trouble Anderson and Sarah Favouritizm.
Following the success of Soul Damn Funky's regular Friday night party they then took to the airwaves of Brighton on the city's only dance music radio station Code South FM.
The Soul Damn Funky soulful specialists educated the people of Brighton every Sunday with a quality selection of upfront and classics deep, soulful, funky and gospel house, as well as regular competitions and interviews from some of the main players on the house scene including New York legend Victor Simonelli.
