So we have spent the last year making the best, highest quality video essays about failed and dead video games. It has been an awesome year, and the content has improved drastically with every upload. However, I am interested in exploring another idea - video game story recaps. Would you be interested in seeing videos that break down and recap some of the coolest stories in gaming? Or is this overdone?

In the early 2010's, there was a game that took Steam by storm called Infestation: Survivor Stories - a divisive, low-quality zombie survival game created by one of the most controversial game developers of all time: Sergey Titov. This game was truly terrible, but it's story is one of the most insane stories I have ever seen in gaming.
My team and I have spent the last six months researching the complex history of Infestation: Survivor Stories. Once called The War Z, the game has been removed from Steam, taken over by hackers, sold to new owners, rebranded under 5-6 different names, used in countless low-quality asset flip projects, involved in scams, and quite a few other things.
I actually exchanged dozens of text messages with Sergey Titov directly to get some answers, and turns out, he wasn't the only one behind this game. Frederic Chesnais, the ex-CEO of Atari was also involved and was a key decision maker in many of the "questionable" business decisions that the companies behind this game made.
"Why Infestation Survivor Stories Died (5 Times)" will be releasing later this month, so buckle up for a crazy one ;)

Do you remember 2011's "Homefront"? This game was supposed to be a revolutionary, exciting new FPS game that would compete with games like Call of Duty and Battlefield. But, it was a complete failure, not just once, but TWICE. The developers tried to remake the game in 2016 as "Homefront: The Revolution" and it flopped again.
Did you ever play this game? What were your thoughts on it? New video called "Why Homefront Failed" will be coming soon ;)

Minecraft Legends was supposed to be a massive real time strategy game that was spun off from the most successful video game ever made. But somehow, just under two years after it's launch, the game is completely dead and has been abandoned by its developers. How did something with so much potential completely flop? New video on Why Minecraft Legends Died will be coming out next week ;)

ATLAS was an ambitious 40,000+ player pirate MMO created by the controversial team behind Ark: Survival Evolved. The game had lofty goals and high player expectations, but only a few years after launch, it has been completely abandoned.

Medal of Honor was the series that laid the groundwork for Call of Duty, Battlefield, and most other modern FPS titles. The franchise released 20 games over 20 years and then vanished, never to be seen again. What happened? New video on "Why Medal of Honor Died" coming out TOMORROW!
