The week before last week, my daughter and I had the best time just being out and about.
I know it's very important to set aside mother daughter days because life is tough as it is....So, I can just imagine being a teen in this era, it's crazy!
When I was a teen, life was so hard because the life I have now, is the life I wished for then; nothing too crazy but, being in my own space, having my own room and just being unbothered most times.
But then, I was always bothered, there's always someone and life was chaotic with siblings.
Today, I get to travel trips, question my work life balance, friendships and just my overall sense of belonging.
If I still have so many questions, I can only imagine what's going through her.
Then, yesterday we got to chance to go out on the road together again & it was just a joy to have her company π
I hope we can do it can soon.
Now that I look back, she's one of my closest right now but, that's good for now, until I add a BFF...

Someone needs to know that God is able.
Listen, we are wrestling against evil and darkness but, the light of God must prevail.
Sickness and infirmities taking over the world but, we must pray without seizing, and I know that now. The minute we stop praying we leave room for darkness and the enemy to creep in.
He does everything on purpose. God puts you in a place and time for you to see his works and show you how good he his.
The Bible says, at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!
Today, his still soft voice said, follow the name of Jesus, and I did. Because, as a child of God sometimes I don't listen and hear, I rush to get my own way but, God opened my eyes to show me that he will send people to lead you where you should go but, you need to know that's the way of God by hearing his own voice for yourself.
Jesus is Lord over all and his kingdom reigns forever.
Sometimes we don't realise that we listen to the wrong people and end up doing the wrong things so, today as the pastor preached on 1 Samuel 3 vs 1-8 when Samuel heard the voice and thought he was being called by Eli but, he was really being called by God!
Sometimes, I think that's my problem, I listen, I hear but, when there are too many voices I don't drown out the negativity, I listen to but, that's not the voice of God. Jesus doesn't speak negativity into our spirit or ears, he's a voice of reason and he speaks positive.
I told myself today that I will block π« out all the negative sounds and listen for that still soft voice that always show me the right way when I and protect me consistently, even when I don't realize.
Search your heart today, see where you've gone wrong and look to Jesus Christ, the only name under which man can be saved.
Let's pray one for anotherππ½

I hope you all are having a blessed Christmas season and gearing up for the New Year.
I got these gifts in 2 parts this year from my son and I will be making sure to take full advantage of them, especially the moscato! π
I'm so super happy with the gifts I received and know they are practical and for everyday use! Thanks to my little girl for this beautifully filled basket and to my husband for his wonderful gift.

I pray that God will grant us all favour, mercy and grace for 2025.

It's Christmas time again ON THE GOERS!
