I found hardly any videos on YouTube when I searched for how to make latte art with a budget coffee machine. There was one video where the creator used a $100 machine that could create the crema/base for latte art. I think using the cheapest machine ($50), along with a frother and French press, made it more difficult to get results quickly.

I know I could have invested in a good coffee machine and started learning then, but I wanted to use the resources I already had (which was a gift). Buying a new coffee machine just to start learning latte art would have pressured me to expect better results instantly, and that would have been frustrating.

I gathered all the basic equipment (cup, tripod, and different tools) gradually while learning and only when I felt it was necessary.

I’ve never believed in instant results and have always relied on slow progress. It definitely took almost a year, but pouring a cup or two at home and connecting with creators in the same niche who also enjoyed home brewing and learning a skill on their own was wonderful.

I’ve dealt with so many different comments about how long I’m taking to learn a skill. Even in real life, friends have made backhanded comments like, “Why coffee daily, daily?” But I’ve learned so many new things along the way, and this is one of them. I think life is about gaining new experiences, and the joy I get from learning things I love can’t be matched.

Next, I’d love to learn how to make croissants or sourdough bread. 🤭

Days 218 to 240 were the toughest, as I faced several challenges
All of a sudden, my tripod, machine, and coffee weren’t with me. I could only pack my Van Gogh latte cup and French press jar in my backpack. I wasn’t sure if I would continue, but those tough days have passed. It may sound silly, but these were essential for me to function daily, as this routine had become a part of my life. 🤍

Unfortunately, I won’t be continuing with my old machine. Though it had only 4-bar pressure and was the cheapest machine available on the market, it delivered the best results!

Now, I have a new tripod and a new machine with 20-bar pressure! It’s still the most affordable machine with the features it offers.

We’re continuing until Day 365! 🥳 NEVER GIVE UP 🤍👏🏻

Experienced 0-degree cold for the first time and the dangerous roads of North Sikkim after the recent devastation. A rainy day, slippery and narrow roads that were newly carved to make a way and not even on the maps, made the 11-hour journey from Siliguri to Sikkim truly thrilling.

If you’ve ever been to Sikkim or have a travel memory that stuck with you, drop it in the comments. Let’s talk about those places that make you stop and just take it all in. ✨

I have some exciting news to share with you all!

Last year, I decided to showcase my journaling journey and share my last 7 journals with you. Since then, I have dreamt of creating a minimalistic yet chic journal that helps us know ourselves better. To bring that vision to life, I handmade a journal to keep all my goals for the year in one place. However, the last two months have been hectic as I worked on designing and creating an affordable journal that is neither overwhelming nor expensive.

Today, I’m thrilled to introduce you to WriteLight, a journal brand created by me and my childhood friend, Vidhi. We’ve always believed in setting goals and achieving them. Vidhi and I started journaling when we were in 6th grade, just 11 or 12 years old, working on self-improvement and writing in our diaries. To this day, journaling continues to help us understand ourselves better.

Journaling has kept us humble, kind, and focused over the years. It has been a practice that celebrates our uniqueness and helps us grow.

WriteLight is now live on our website!

WriteLight is your go-to minimalistic journal that is as simple as it is meaningful.
Unlike other hefty and expensive journals that can feel overwhelming, WriteLight is designed to bring you peace, not pressure.

Here’s what makes it special:

Minimal Design: No clutter, no chaos—just a clean space for your thoughts, affirmations, and ideas.

Affordable: A complete journaling kit without breaking the bank.

Complete Set: Includes a journal diary, a sleek pen, 4 inspirational tape rolls, and a pocket-sized to-do list diary—everything you need to stay inspired and organized.
