WoodShow started its journey in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in 2005 and since then it has established itself as the only dedicated and unique platform for the wood and woodworking machinery industry in Middle East and North Africa region. In 2011, Cairo WoodShow was launched which became a solid platform for the North Africa and extended Middle East region and catered to the expert professionals from the industry. In 2018, the WoodShow continued its expansion and reached West Africa to initiate Gabon WoodShow in partnership with Gabon Special Economic Zone, a business entity of Olam International and the Gabonese government. Continuing with its expansion story in 2020, WoodShow is now being organized in Indonesia (Indonesia WoodShow) as well along with the official support from the Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Industry and other reputed industry associations of the Republic of Indonesia.
