Hobby Drone flyer using DJI Mini 3
Registered as a drone operator with the Civil Aviation Authority and hold a CAA Flyer ID to fly in the Open Category. (DMAARES)
I am also covered by drone flight Insurance.
Drones under 250g such as the DJI Mini 3 are able to fly closer to people than larger drones and up to a maximum altitude of 400ft / 120m. There is still a requirement to comply with other CAA drone code rules, such as being aware of, and not flying in restricted airspace zones.
