I took on TheAnimeMen's editing contest challenge to recreate the Dan Da Dan trailer with just 24 hours of editing time. Itโs been a wild ride of planning, experimenting with motion graphics and VFX, and even bending some rules with AI tools.
Iโve poured my creative heart into this, and Iโd love to hear your thoughts! Did I capture the energy and vibe of the original? What could I improve for next time?
Your feedback means a lot as I continue this creative journey. Thanks for all the support, and I hope you enjoy watching the final trailer! ๐

I was so inspired that I spent my weekend creating a quick tutorial on how to achieve its cool animation style. ๐๐จ

๐ฆ 300 hours of work, a trip to Japan, and countless reflections on this idea of Ikigaiโa reason for living. Itโs been quite a journey! Along the way, Iโve experienced beautiful moments and reconnected with childhood friends from Myanmar, all while trying to discover my own Ikigai.
If youโve ever wondered what gives your life purpose or just want to see the journey, give it a watch and let me know what you think. It would mean a lot! ๐

I just finished working on my second video. Honestly, I wasnโt entirely happy with it and debated whether or not to post it. But "Done is better than perfect" is my new motto, and the whole point of doing the YouTube thing is to learn and explore rather than to create a perfect video. So, instead of letting it gather dust on my hard drive, I decided to share it and take it as a learning experience. Maybe Iโll even discuss it in a future video!
What I Learned:
โ๏ธ Script Thoroughly: Donโt start shooting until the script is fully developed.
๐ Story First: Prioritize the story over visuals, unless the visual is the story.
๐ฏ Focus: Stick to one clear objective per video. Don't lose sight of it.
๐๏ธ Show, Donโt Tell: If youโre not great at speaking to the camera, let your visuals do the talking.
๐ข Professional Approach: Treat it like a real job, although you don't get paid to do this.
๐ Organize: Plan your production shot lists before the shoot, reference them during the shoot, and adjust and fix it in post when necessary.
๐ Have Fun: Donโt be too hard on yourself and enjoy the process.

Your feedback and support mean the world to me! ๐ ๐ ๐
