First art I've actually finished in ages..ugh..art block is no joke but I think I'm finally getting out of it after about 2 months.
Sorry art has been slow but my mental and physical health come first, then work, then college, and finally. Art. Hoping to knock out all owed art within the next month so I can be free from my shackles and draw this gay clock as much as I want guilt free.

Today was the first day of "it's a small world" Holiday here at Disneyland! Went to the park in the morning and was able to get one ride in after the attraction experienced some extended down time in the morning*... Here are some photos from today

* When I was waiting around for it to reopen, the area audio was cutting in and out (so the area music would sometimes turn off, Clockboy's tick tocks sometimes turned off, etc). It made me wonder if the issue in the ride was audio related, and that seemed to be the case based off a couple videos I saw from rope drop. But when I got on around 9:30, the audio seemed to be back to normal

Hey everyone! Not a super serious post but a long one as a kind of reminder: I am just one guy.
I feel like there's been a hidden expectation recently for me to create more (polished/lore important/etc) content involving Clockboy & co., as if I'm required to. It is important to remember that they're all basically my OCs... I draw myself hanging out with them, or kissing them, or whatever else, simply because I want to. Sometimes I draw silly things and sometimes I draw more serious pieces. Like... I do all of this for fun.
I work 40+ hours a week at my physically demanding full-time job. I am currently taking online college classes, which eats away at even more time. And I still like to socialize with my friends and go to theme parks when I can. Art is obviously very important for me and I try to draw as often as I can, but again. I am one person. I don't have anyone else helping me make stuff.
The art and stories and everything are all in my brain and I want to be the one to share these things when I can. Unfortunately this means things take longer, but it also means that everything *I* personally put out can be thought of as canon to a degree. I have no plans, or really any desire, to make a comic or animated web series or anything. The most I want to do is write a few short stories, and even then, I dunno if I will ever fully commit to that idea. As much as I like sharing my characters and their world/stories, I don't do it expecting to build a fandom or gain a following or anything of the sort.
That all being said, I do appreciate everyone who enjoys hearing about Clockboy & co., and it genuinely means a lot to me! But I think it's worth remembering I am not doing this to make a whole like, series or anything about them... I am just sharing them because they are OCs that mean a lot to me and I am incapable of talking about anything else... π
P.S. ...this is sorta related, but like I mentioned, only the art I make is "canon," with a few exceptions here and there for commissioned/gifted art -- if there is art not made by me that feels out of character, or the subject matter feels off, there's a good chance it's not canon or something I'm even aware of.
I try to keep all my publicly posted stuff rated PG (or PG-13 for language since I cuss a lot, lol), so anything that feels rated R either wasn't made by me, or *was* made by me, but shared without my permission, which has unfortunately happened in the past (since adult content is not my main focus, so I generally keep it on accounts I don't talk about publicly and restrict access to).

another Chronos
I am so obsessed with him... Trying to nail down his design a bit more. He goes between using a cane and crutches depending on the day. Also making up some lore about him... But yeah. Very excited to throw this guy into my line up officially at some point! I think he and the Clockboy's would get along really well (he might even be a possible suitor for PCB π)

finished up this graphic that shows that all the different faces of the small world clocks are all different guys. to meβ¦ β¨ππβ°πβ¨
hopefully it's not too confusing... like Clockboy himself has like 4 different colors he can be (as these are the 4 current versions of each respective facade), but the "default" is the white/gold, since DL has the original design n all that
+ bonus Clockboy only one with all his previous Disneyland colors along with Christmas, 50th (DL), and his current outfits at the other parks (MK, TDL, HKDL)

every time I listen to "I Wanna Dance With Somebody," my mind jumps to a me/ Clockboy 80's AU... hence the Videopolis aesthetic (and a reference to the casual 80's homophobic dance policy)
