Hey all. I've been busy with a bunch of things last month. Sorry for the lack of updates. I am currently working with
@HylianPrincessLida (youtube.com/@HylianPrincessLida) on a side-project called "Ask Zelda", where the main characters of each Zelda game answer fan questions and I'm helping out with the 2D animation side of things. I got involved in this project because I wanted to help a friend out and also use this project to inspire me to get back into animating Four Swords again. After creative burnout hit me hard years ago, I missed the "fun" side of animating Zelda videos. When it became an obligation, I was not enjoying it and needed a break. Right now, this is a warm-up to get back on track of things. I hope you'll enjoy it when it's ready! Help support her work too! 👍
I will be making more Four Swords Shorts to spark interest again.
I am continuing the Mortal Kombat Mishaps XXL sketches rounding them up to 30 for now. I am on the fence about whether to create 10 more or not depending on fan interest. Regardless it has been a creatively fun ride. Sketches 21-30 will be titled "It's Reigning Khaos", in reference to the MK1 DLC pack, and I'll make a 30-clip compilation video when that is done.
I want to continue the "Steamy Specials" Let's play indie reviews if there is still interest in them, and maybe make them shorter if necessary. I also wish to make more livestream let's plays too. But keep in mind that Superchats are not enabled where I live and it has not exactly been helping my case.
I am open to fan recommendations as to what you want me to play or livestream, if I can. Nothing too extreme though, I have a Core i5 HP laptop.

Hey all. Quick update. Mortal Kombat Mishaps XXL 3 is in development consisting of 10 more scenes (21-30). It may be the last batch for now, unless I develop enough ideas for a 4th batch. Regardless after the third batch is done, there will be a "mega compilation" video of the 30 scenes.
I am also working on Four Swords 12, but as I stated previously, it's a little hard to work on it without staying relevant through YouTube's algorithm. If I stay silent for too long, my channel's views will drop. Thankfully, the Shorts format has helped somewhat in the channel's growth.
I do plan on developing extra segments on the channel, like one called "Steamy Specials" (provisional title) where I review indie Steam games that may or may not be multiplatform. I have also considered making more Zelda debate and retrospective videos. I hope things work out overall.
Lastly, remember that some of my Four Swords episodes had been muted here due to annoying copyright bots. The episodes are still available for viewing on other platforms such as Dailymotion, Newgrounds, and even on Patreon as a "Mostly uncut" edition. Remember to help support the channel, via word of mouth or any other way you can. Thank you.

For those new to the channel: I live in Caracas, Venezuela. If you've seen the news, the protests are picking up here again and things are getting uglier. I'd appreciate any help that I can get. I'll stay away from the chaos, but I need to focus on getting out of the country one of these days.

Hey all. Look, I have this issue right now: either I stay relevant with regular uploads on the channel, or maintain radio silence and work on a bigger project while I watch my channel's ratings and revenue go down.
I wish to remind followers that this channel is a "one-man studio", with the occasional outsourcing of additional actors, artists, and animators. As much as I want to continue animating Four Swords episodes, please understand that it is impossible to animate consistent 20-30 min. episodes by myself on a weekly basis and on such a low budget. It's not easy to make a comeback after being creatively burned out for many years.
The channel is all I have left to make some kind of living and with what I currently earn it's not exactly enough to pay all the bills at the moment.
All I ask is to have patience with my work and support my content in any way you can. No need to rush.

For context, Four Swords Misadventures 12 was 7 years in the making. See, ep 11 was too big of an episode, so it was split in half. Then the Adpocalypse happened, then the Venezuelan crisis, then some of my VAs left the project, then my dad passed away. I was not having fun.
Burnout hit me hard in 2017 and I took a step back from anything Zelda related. Seeing how YouTube made it harder for animators to make a living, I found a real job as a teacher for a few years and went on a semi-hiatus. Now I've been salvaging projects since last year.
I do want to apologize for taking so long to make Four Swords 12. Keep in mind that I was not in a happy place, mentally speaking. YouTube burnout is real. I'm pushing forward to continue the show, even if it means animating by myself. Regardless, thanks for your support.
