Today I’ve picked up a new action camera that will be my new action camera to replace my DJI Action 2 which has been frustrating to use due to the problems it has. I was looking at the Action 3 recently but today when at the shops I picked the Action 4 on sale.
I’ll be using this for b roll when it comes to making my videos, great for when I’m travelling through the airport and hoping on the plane. It’s nice to have 2 cameras that I’ll be able to position in different places when driving. One could be doing a time lapse where the other is capturing video.
I just got the standard setup as it will work with my other existing accessories for the Action 2.

Apologies for the delay on this as I’ve had to move the original day that I was going to do this from the Sunday to a Saturday due to an event taking place on the Sunday.
We will meet down at the Oyster Bar in Elizabeth Quay at 2pm on Saturday 14th of September. Will walk through the city taking photos of the environment around us, all skill levels welcome you can even use your phone if you feel comfortable just using that. This isn’t a workshop or anything like that just a excuse to get out and take some photos and catch up with me before I head out from Perth for England on the 17th which is just 3 weeks away now!
We won’t do a massive walk so don’t worry it won’t be a endurance event 😂
We will finish up at the Novotel on Murray Street for some drinks and food.
Be sure to get to the meet up location on time as we will leave not long after.
If you have anything else to ask me please comment down below and all skill levels welcome beginners and even professionals 😎
It will still happen even if rain is forecast. Just dress for the conditions.
Comment down below is you’re coming along so I know the numbers to expect.

Good afternoon everyone I hope all of you are having a wonderful weekend, it is a lovely sunny day where I am and the birds are singing. I will be going out later to catch up with a friend. Sadly I don't have any new videos to come but there's a couple I will be working on soon, it is just a dry patch for me at the moment during this faze of moving.
On this day in 6 weeks time I will be checking into my hotel in the city for my 3 nights before I catch my flight.
What are some of the things you would like to see me do on this channel? I have lots of ideas but it is always nice to hear from all of you :)

It is crazy to think that I have just 7 weeks and a few days before I jump on a plane and head for England, Time is going past extremely quickly this past week is no exception to that as it felt like I blinked and another week draws to a close.
I made this video back in May and it was made live to you all in early June https://youtu.be/WM_4Hi1b2TE?si=mjYsA...
There's been so many things I have wanted to do before I leave and now I am having to mentally in my head say those just can't happen, I do hope I catch up with a few more of my friends I haven't seen in a while before I depart this amazing continent before I leave for England.

After my weekend staying in the city I made my way back to the train station with my camera in my hand. I wanted to document the world around me using just my camera, it was quite quiet down my end of the city where I was staying but as I walked closer to the station where I was to be catching my train from it was a thrive of activity.
As I was walking around I was thinking just how small Perth city is and thinking that possibly this time next year I could be in London doing the same thing with some friends.

My new lens arrived for my Fuji, I have been looking for something that offers a bit more reach than my 16-80 and I settled on the 55-200. I was originally looking at the 70-300 but these are very hard to find in stock also it’s about $400 extra. I did also look at the 100-400 but that is even more and it is heavy and big. I did look for used glass but it really holds its value.
On Tuesday night while watching @granddesignstv looked at my options and worked out what I wanted from a lens and settled on this. It felt like the wise option. From my testing today in the garden after it arrived I’m happy with my decision.
It will be great for England and when I go to @brandshatchofficial for the GT Cup Championship happening in September 😎 accommodation and tickets all booked in 😀. I’m not messing around here lol

I am still here, I just have been working out a few things. It is a little bit quiet for content at the moment.
I did get away recently to think about things which was nice to do, a few photos from my trip down to Mandurah for 3 nights.

Lots of content coming soon from my adventure In Kalbarri for the week, tomorrow is the day I leave and head back home. This was from this morning when I was picking out details within the landscape, it’s the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II a fantastic lens.
Videos from this will be coming out in the next few weeks.
I also got out with my Bronica ETR 645 yesterday morning, a lot has been happening.

Welcome to my channel first off! On here I will bring you along on my adventures and have some fun in the process. This channel was created to show more of what is involved behind each of my photos and also share a view into my life as a landscape photographer. My channel isn’t my portfolio, there’s good days and bad days and this is apart of the journey.
I have had a camera in my hand since I got my first camera at 4 years old, that is 30 years now and I have no plans on stopping this journey.
