It's been a recent trend for dreadnaughts to have *very* high initial survival. Notable, the more survival you have on the LESS additional survival helps.
- Going from 100k to 200k survival reduces your damage taken by 45%.
- Going from 900k survival to 1mil survival reduces your damage taken by 9.8%.
Keep that in mind when you're selecting armor, it may be a better decision to use D5-EV for evade rather than standard armor for survival (although the damage increase is still nice)

Projectile Explosions in raid targets:
TL;DR: if you are annoyed with or otherwise don't have the shockwaves, ramping splash from your (heavy?) weapons, or PBAOE turret, you can turn off those through projectile effects. You essentially have to pick between seeing what damages you and not having excessive (imho) graphics
(you're welcome to think I'm being excessive with this, but I personally know players who can't even roll for crews since they have schizophrenia)
