2 years ago today, the horrific Club Q shooting happened in Colorado Springs. The tragic loss of 5 people and the many injured marked yet the latest example of anti-LGBTQ+ violence in America. This event sat heavily with me until I finally managed to write about it. Earlier this year, @brotherwellmusic6038 & I collaborated on a song - where we merged my poem and his music together into a solemn anthem honoring those who were taken & commentating on the state of anti-LGBTQ+ violence in this country.
