Box cooking with minimal fire.
Prepare food, simmer 30-40 minutes on heat source with a well fitted lid. Put in a well insulated box packed tightly with towels and what have you. Six hours later, you have some cooked, flavorful food. (Especially if you remembered to season it)
I got my insulated box from a place that mailed me frozen food. And I have a spare if you want to try it.
