On January 26, 2022, the band announced that it would change its name to the dadadadys.
In addition to vocal guitarist Sadatoshi Koike and bassist Kenichiro Sato, who had been active as teto for six years, former 2 drummer yucco officially joined to form the dadadadys.
In April of the same year, Ren Yamaoka, who had joined the band as a support guitarist, joined the band as an official member, making it a four-member group.
On the same day, the first mini album "Do Wha dadadady" was released.
In May of the same year, the band embarked on "the dadadadys TOUR 2022," a one-man tour that began at Tokyo Kinema Club and took them to nine venues throughout Japan.
The tour is scheduled to start in September of the same year, and will be followed by a "counter-party" version at six other venues throughout Japan.
