More to come on the Mandalorian costume, and much to still fix and add to get exactly how I want it to be more accurate! But Rhode Island Comic-Con was a blast! Saw lots of smiles, and many cool costumes! I also got to meet ‪@jenmarkham‬ which was very exciting for me! She’s inspired me the most to get into cosplay costuming and continues to put out some of my favorite content! #rhodeislandcomiccon

On the note of internet orthodoxy, frankly this has gotten all out of hand and it’s dangerous. Extremism on both sides of the coin are an equal threat to the church. Not listening to our hierarchy and telling others not to, is a problem. This isn’t how the ancient faith prevails. This isn’t what the church is. And while many have brought people into the faith it’s gotten to a point that is creating too much tension, too much hate, it’s confusing catechumens, and inquirers. Arguing over jurisdictions only creates further divide and ultimately isn’t what we need in these times. The Orthodox Church is not a political function. It’s not liberal nor is it conservative. It’s faith, it’s The Church. Stop worrying about what priests on the internet who have no jurisdiction, therefore being essentially rogue say. Or what some random guy who just enjoys debating people instead of actually being a good Christian example. These people are not our teachers. Our spiritual fathers are. Our clergy and other laity that have been in the church for longer than most of us have been alive are. You want the best Orthodox experience, don’t look on the internet, go find a church and talk to the people. Talk to the clergy. Get resources from them. #internetorthodoxy #orthodoxchurch
