Tsingtao (pronounced CHING DOW) is the world's favourite Chinese beer.
In August 1903 the Tsingtao Brewery was founded by adventure driven German & British settlers in Qingdao, China.
Over 100 years later, Tsingtao Beer is still made using the same unique process and the same original yeast transported from Germany. Barley malt from Canada, Australia and France is combined with hops and rice from Western China.
The brewing process is completed with underground spring water from the Laoshan Mountains, where Taoism, the primary Chinese spiritual belief, originated. The result is a genuine imported, multiple award winning 'world' beer made from 100% natural ingredients.
