We are a family looking to become more self sufficient on 2 acres in the Arizona desert (Zone 9a&b). Our goal is simple; reduce our need for supplied resources. We are not trying to be off grid but seek to be more independent.
We garden in the soil as well as in aquaponic growbeds. The challenges of growing food in the desert are many so let's learn together.
