You guys won't believe this. So I'm listening to some soulsborne music playlist on spotify and there's this composer named @alex-roe (who you should listen to if you have not!). I noticed the title of a song being played was "Soul Reaper Kane" and my first thought was like "wtf Alex, why did you basically copy one of my titles verbatim?" and then I clicked on the album. And I kid you not - Alex's "Soul Reaper Kane" song came out 8 YEARS before my song "Blood Reaper Kane".
Meaning both Alex and I independently wrote soulsborne inspired boss themes named "_____ Reaper Kane". That's actually fucking insane. The probability has got to be like 1 in a billion. Granted, Kane is a particularly malevolent sounding name, so maybe it's not quite as unlikely as randomly choosing any name in the world. But then the Reaper part!? I'm actually in shock right now. Like this has got to be a glitch in the matrix or something.
But then there are also like so many different ways to spell the name Kane. Like here are some common spellings off the top of my head: Cain, Kane, Kayne, Cane. And we chose the exact same spelling too!? Absolutely wild. I should go out and buy a lottery ticket right now. Sorry for accidentally stealing your title, Alex!!!

If you like my soulsborne music, you’ll love @MoonlapseGameSoundtracks. His music quality is just as good, if not better, than mine. He only has 29 subs and just started the channel. Go listen to his music and I promise you won’t regret it! youtube.com/@moonlapsegamesoundtracks?si=87PkbSANk…

Thank you all so much for 5,000 subscribers- that’s a lot of people! I never thought I’d make it this far when I first started out. It’s genuinely moving to know my music is enjoyed by so many people.
Although things have been a bit slow this winter, I’m working on multiple projects. I’ll do my best to give you guys an awesome new song before my last semester of undergrad starts.
Regardless, this is just the beginning. I have big plans for future projects!

Hey everyone! Sorry things have been a bit quiet lately. I'm currently in the final year of my physics degree (and also currently grappling with chess addiction). But I am still working on some new songs. Thought I'd give you guys an update. More music coming soon

Currently five and a half minutes deep into my largest musical undertaking. Featuring several live performers, multiple boss phases, and hollow knight musical cameos. I've been working on it on and off for a few months now. It's a really special song and I'm excited to share it with you all soon(ish).

(Tap/Click to see full image) I created this trolley problem to illustrate a surprisingly contentious discussion topic with my philosophy friends. What would you do?

You’ve just invented the first time machine. Right before you use it, a man you don’t know appears next to you in a flash and hands you a note. Then he vanishes before you can react. The note says “don’t use the time machine.”
Do you

FAQ:
-What DAW do you use?
► I use Logic Pro X, but you can use any DAW to make any kind of music! What matters is your skill as a composer and the quality of your sample libraries.
-How do your instruments sound so realistic?
► I use a very powerful collection of orchestral libraries from East West studios. They have a monthly subscription that gives me access to over 40,000 instruments for 20 bucks. It's super easy to try out if you're interested in writing music! They've been kind enough to give me an affiliate link, but I'd be recommending East West even without that.
