Our dedicated coating removal system is chemical stripping, we use and recommend Dumond Chemicals® products especially. SmartStrip Pro™ - while media blasting is a good option, we believe that chemical stripping does not remove any of the hand-drawn texturing left by a draw knife, followed up with a mechanical sand or the use of osborn buffing brushes that the surface of the logs/timbers will have a more appealing finish.
