Hey. I've got some pretty unfortunate news.
TL;DR: Should I post September on Mario Paint today or next year?
I wanted to post a Mario Paint cover of September for the 21st. I started working on it on the 20th and realized that it would take a long time. I thought that I would have the rest of the 20th and the 21st to work on it and hopefully post it on the 21st night, but my days just ended up being too busy for that to work out.
I checked up with @RemixerDarken, a fellow Mario Painter, seeing if he might coincidentally be posting the same song on the same day... but he told me that he would be sticking to his usual Saturday upload schedule, as well as something unexpected; that the paint had been done before by SharpKidThugga. Usually, I check if songs have already been done on Mario Paint before I do them, but I just didn't do it this time. I guess I was blinded by inspiration. Darken told me that I would be the first to do the song in the default soundfont, and that made me feel a little better.
So, now I ask you this: Would it not be special anymore if I didn't post it on the 21st? Or would you be okay with me posting it today? Please answer the poll, and I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments. Thanks!
