Don't miss another Art Journal Process Video for the Video Collabwith ‪@lenablankenstein-holmstrom5981‬. I tried to stay in a somewhat neutral palette and I really like the outcome. So let you inspire to do your own Art Journal Page or it could even be a card. What do you think?
Coming next Friday at 7:00 pm CET so keep your eye on it.

Don't miss this Art Journal Page where I sketch a girl and then add an additional face from my lately released Face stamp set. It was so much fun working on this art journal page! It’s a mix of sketching, stamping, and watercolor layering, which are some of my favorite techniques. As always video is coming on Friday at 7:00 pm CET / 10:00 am PST / 12:00 PM (noon) EST

Exploring cubism in my latest piece for the #3girlsand12faces collaboration! This time, I went for a more abstract, geometric style, drawing directly with Derwent Tinted Charcoal and enhancing the lines with a Nero oil-based pencil.

I kept the supplies minimal and challenged myself with only a basic gouache set (red, blue, yellow, black, and white). Mixing my own colors added a unique twist to the process, and I love the unexpected hues that came out of it!

Have you ever worked with a limited palette? What did you think of the challenge? Let me know in the comments of the video coming next Friday, usual time 7:00 pm CET

Lately I had a lot of questions for the measurements of this really old video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=boAJp.... It is about an inkpad storage I made. So I decided to post it here again (it was originaly only in the FB group Bea's Mixed Media and More

Tomorrow for the #3girlsand12faces challenge, I'm drawing inspiration from the renowned Dutch painter Julie de Graag, known for her striking graphic style. While my version didn't turn out exactly as planned and the proportions may not be perfect, I'm embracing the creative process. It's important to stay real and share not just the successes, but also the attempts that didn't quite hit the mark. After all, even with practice, there are always pieces that don't turn out as expected—and that's okay. What about you do you are you ok with not so perfect results?
