As we navigate the narrow streets of Chawri Bazar, Ajmeri Gate and Sita Ram Bazar, we notice a peculiar sight - several houses with locked gates, abandoned and untouched for years. The once vibrant homes now stand as eerie reminders of the past, their gates rusted and their doors hidden behind layers of dust and neglect.
The narrow streets, barely wide enough for 3-4 people to pass, seem to whisper stories of the past. The closely packed houses, with their intricate architecture and faded facades, appear to be holding secrets and tales of their own.
While walking, the sounds of the bustling market and the aroma of street food fill the air, but my attention remains fixed on the mysterious, locked houses. What stories do they hold? Why have they been abandoned for so long? The questions linger, as I continue journey through the winding streets of old Delhi.
