I just discovered the "Inspiration" tab in YouTube Studio, and just want to take this moment to reiterate:
Everything I make, at every stage of the process, is done with my own two hands, or with as much human involvement is necessary (like a song someone made, or a studio's trailers, things like that). I may not be the most creative person, by a longshot, but I enjoy creating, and I never want to stop.
The moment anyone decides to outsource their creative spark to a machine is the moment that spark dies. Forever.

Probably should've said this a week ago, but I'll say it now.
2024 kinda sucked for me. I felt like I lost a lot of my creative drive due to a lack of proper medication. But since around August, I've gotten back into it, slowly, and now, I'm worried I'm about to lose it again, thanks to... let's call it "outside influence that I tried to stop in November" and not tempt fate.
I don't know who's still here, waiting for me to upload something worth watching again, but I've been wanting to do something more "me", more of a "Team Sora" production. And I have such an idea.
One of my New Year's Resolutions is to share one of my pet projects with the world. The big one, my "life's work", a story I've been rolling around in my head, in some form, since I was around 9, even rebooted it and started sharing that version when I was in high school.
And as a "return" to animating on YouTube, I want to share my vision with the world, while I still feel like I can.
...or at least a trailer for it, something to give people an idea of what I want it to be.
But for now, I'm finally trying to write all this shit down. It's a long one.
It might take me a while to get things up to where I want it, but once I can hit the "fuck it, it's good enough for now" phase, I'll be sharing it on all my social accounts. Yes, even the ones I've abandoned (FB and its spawn) or are trying to abandon (Twitter and its step-dad).
Odds are high, based on how I want to do it, that YouTube's copyright system will not be kind. But I'm not expecting to make money off it, anyway.
Until I'm ready with a trailer, here's a small, incomplete preview of my dream project:
