Finally got around to watching RWBY Volume 9.
And it made me eat my words.
This is by far my favorite season to date, and feels exactly like the older volumes to me. I know they couldn’t be farther apart, but there’s just something about the ever after that does it for me, that V7 and V8 just didn’t do for me.
The few fight scenes are fantastic, and the narrative is actually something I was constantly engaged in. Stepping away from the impossible odds with Salem and the relics for a volume, and focusing on an equally concerning but less at risk narrative is exactly what was needed. You can only save the world so many times before it gets boring.
I loved the Cat. I loved Neo. I loved every bit about this Volume. And now I’m torn on a previous decision I’ve made.
I may continue RWBY editing in the future, but I’m not sure. All I know is this Volume was a leap in the right direction, and hopefully it’s not lightning in a bottle they can only get once.
That’s all I gotta say. I loved Volume 9.

Ight, so here’s the deal. I have no desire for RWBY content anymore. I just flat out dont enjoy the characters or the series at all now. Not to mention over half the show is just straight garbage.
I am still very dedicated to making RVB content through the S6-13 era; as I am very confident in my abilities with that series and enjoy its story/setting.
I’m basically swapping mains. At this point all I want to edit with is Red vs. Blue, Hazbin/Helluva, and Star Wars. I’m not able to do the latter though because of the poor amount of views they receive. I want people to see my work, because I’m proud of my work. And when I put time into SW content and it doesn’t even yield 500? Yeah… no.
I don’t think any other RoosterTeeth series will be getting my attention anymore either. I’m really just waiting for something new I enjoy to come out, so I can have a third fandom to edit with.
That’s all I really gotta say. Doesn’t mean much considering I’ve been on the platform for like 5 years and only have ~330 subs to show for it. But I just wanted to be transparent and put both my wants, my plans, and my aspirations out there.
Still holding out for some big break though, even if I refuse to do a Centuries edit 💀; I’ll never stoop that low.

Woo! 300! Ignore the fact we were on 258 for like a year and a half. Important thing is that we are here.
So ima be fully transparent. The plan was to drop RWBY editing for good and move onto fandoms that I was more engaged with and excited about. While that is working really well, I do want to return to my roots and produce RWBY edits again.
Basically all I’m saying is expect varitized content in the future rather than a focus on one fandom. I’m super excited for the future of this channel now that my videos are getting decent traction.
