Yo guys! Alex on the beat!

Had a thought this morning during my workout: what genre do I actually make music in? I usually tag my tracks as HOUSE PHONK, but honestly, I’m not sure if they really fit the classic definition.

What do you think? Any ideas on what genre or subgenre my beats belong to? Let me know in the comments!

Hey guys, Alex on the beat!

I haven’t posted much lately, and there’s a reason for that—I’ve been sick. Honestly, I haven’t felt this awful in a long time. I was stuck in bed with a high fever for three days, and nothing I tried could bring it down. Seeing a doctor wasn’t an option either because, well… I live in a country where the military and police are literally snatching men off the streets and sending them to die for the interests of a corrupt fascist regime. Obviously, that’s not the fate I want for myself, so I have to minimize risks and rely only on my own strength.

But hey, I’m feeling much better now, which means I can finally celebrate the release of my new track with you! You can find it on my YouTube Music or Spotify artist page. And of course, there’s already a music video for it on my channel! The visuals in the background actually feature scenes from my very first game made in Unity. By the way, you can download the game for free on my Patreon.

Hope you enjoy the new track! Let me know what you think in the comments. Much love to all of you—stay safe and take care!

Hey everyone, Alex on the beat!

After discussing it with my wife, I’ve decided to revise my Patreon tiers and overall approach to content to make everything as fair, transparent, and convenient for you as possible.

From now on, there will be only three tiers: Red, Blue, and Black.
For the most part, these tiers are just a way to support me. Unfortunately, my work as a music producer doesn’t really lend itself to creating extra content the way other creators do on Patreon.

I’m primarily an electronic music producer, and this field doesn’t offer many opportunities for exclusive content. So from now on, any extra content I do create will be available for free to everyone on my page.

However, early access to my tracks will now be part of the basic RED tier.
The BLUE and BLACK tiers will exist as ways to provide additional financial support for me and Yuki. I believe this is the fairest and most honest approach.

Unfortunately, I can’t offer more than what I already do on YouTube—at least for now.
But I truly appreciate all of your support. It means a lot to me!

Your Alex.

🔥 Hey! What’s up, everyone? Alex on the beat! 🔥
And today, I’ve got two big announcements!

🎉 First – 4,000 subscribers!
We did it! 4K on the channel – that’s a win! 🏆 Huge thanks to everyone supporting me, listening to my music, and sticking around. You guys are the best! And where there’s 4,000, there’s 40,000… or maybe even 4,000,000? Okay, now I’m dreaming too big. 😆

🎮 Second – my first game is finally here!
That’s right, I’ve officially finished my first game, featuring our beloved Luna! 🎵 You’ve heard her vocals in many of my tracks, like "My Power" (if you haven’t checked it out yet – go listen in the "Videos" or "Releases" section!).

🔹 TimeRunner is a cyberpunk infinite runner, where you’ll:
✅ Dodge obstacles 🏃‍♂️
✅ Shoot enemies 🔫
✅ Collect coins to increase your score 💰
✅ Try to outrun time itself! ⏳

I really poured my heart into this project, making it as fast-paced and fun as possible. Hope you’ll enjoy it!

📥 Where to download the game?
The game is 100% FREE and available here:

🔗 [Patreon] www.patreon.com/c/ALEXESSEKER
🔗 [Telegram] (latest post – but note, my Telegram is in Russian!) t.me/alexessekeroficial

⚡ Both posts include setup instructions (super easy: download → extract → launch). System requirements are also listed there.

🙏 Support & Feedback
Game development is hard as hell, but I love it! If you enjoy TimeRunner, I might continue expanding the project, adding new features as my coding muscles grow. 💪

So let’s play, have fun, and push the limits together! 🕹🔥

Hey everyone! Alex on the beat! Here’s a selection of screenshots from my first game, which I’ll be publishing soon on Patreon for free access. This is a student project where I tried to solidify the few basics I’ve managed to learn since November. In my opinion, it turned out pretty well. Yes, it’s definitely not something I could upload to Steam, and the game doesn’t have everything I originally wanted (for example, a skin shop, where you could buy skins for Luna with coins collected in the game. But I don’t even have a clue how to implement that. Maybe later). While working on this project, Yuuki also became interested in game dev. The only thing is, she’s terrified of programming (I, by the way, am too), so she’s started learning Blender. In the future, we plan to create our own games, including ones set in the universe of our waifus. So, you’ll have the chance to dive into the world of Keira, Luna, Eva, and the others. But not anytime soon. Game development turned out to be WAY harder than I thought. And this is a challenge that really tests me. But... I hope I’ll manage!

You can watch the gameplay footage of the game on my Patreon for free (patreon.com/ALEXESSEKER?utm_medium=unknown&utm_sou…. I’ll release the game in a week. I want to see how it performs on a weaker PC. Maybe I’ll try adding English language support...

Hey there! Alex on the beat!

Lately, I've been wondering why some people abroad seem so hostile towards AI. I’m emphasizing foreign audiences here because, in our corner of the internet (Ukraine, Russia, Belarus), people are either positive about AI or just don’t care at all. Many phonk producers, like myself, use AI-generated art for their covers. Some are even starting to use AI for generating vocals for their tracks. It’s super convenient — having your own personal vocalist who’ll sing as many takes as you need — and there are no copyright issues to worry about. With a quality instrumental, a machine’s voice can be a perfect addition to a track (just listen to "ANGEL'S BLOOD" or "HAUNTING PARTY" — maybe it sounds a bit cocky, but these are genuinely cool tracks, and I love them).

It seems like we're way behind Western Europe or the US when it comes to tech. But we’re eager to embrace new technologies, while in the places where these technologies are developed, they’re often met with resistance. Or maybe I’ve just been unlucky and keep running into AI haters. Anyway, I’m not seeing the full picture, and my opinion isn’t claiming to be objective. It’s just a weird situation.

What’s your take on AI? Drop a comment below. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Hey guys! Alex on the beat… Probably…

Lately, the views and streams on my channel have dropped significantly. I’m not sure why, but it’s been really demotivating and leaves me feeling apathetic. You put in so much effort, give it your all, and then see the gap between the energy spent and the tiny success you get in return. But you keep pushing forward… Through the gloom, through the doubts, through the “I can’t.” And then you realize, even that isn’t enough.

It reminded me of that iconic line from Alice in Wonderland:
"Now, here, you see, it takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!"
And I wonder… is running faster even possible?

I have a big request for all of you who enjoy my music. I appreciate you so much! You give meaning to my creativity and keep me going when things get tough. Every time I sit down to work on a new track, I imagine you in my mind and think about what I could create to surprise both myself and all of you. That means the world to me.

So here’s the favor: please don’t forget to like my videos, leave comments (anything at all—don’t feel like you have to only praise me. Criticism is welcome too; I value any feedback from you), and subscribe if you haven’t already. Also, it’s super important to hit the notification bell. YouTube doesn’t always push new videos or tracks to your feed, but it does notice a drop in engagement. When engagement drops, YouTube reduces the reach even further. It’s a vicious cycle. The bell can help break it a little.

I believe this is just a temporary phase. Of course, I’m not giving up or going anywhere. There’s been too much progress to quit now—quitting would mean truly losing, and I hate losing! My next track drops next Friday, as usual.

Thank you so much for being here with me. I’m grateful to have you all!

GERDA IS HERE! AND SHE'S READY TO BITE! 🐺🔥

Have you heard the new track HALO OF BLOOD II that I created with dewerro? If not, hurry up and check out my channel! 🚀 There's something truly epic waiting for you there! 🎶

This track was heavily inspired by the game MiSide, and I think you can feel that in its sound — alluring yet haunting. 👾✨

Honestly, I’m so damn proud of this one. 😎 A year and a half ago, I dreamed of releasing tracks like this. It's amazing to see dreams coming true! 🌟

What do you think about new song? Let me know! 💬🖤

Hello, friends!

Alex on the beat!

This post is a bit off-topic, but I just want to share something with you. Yuki and I finished MiSide, and I highly recommend it! It’s just a great game with a pretty ambiguous ending. The developers really put their heart into it, and you can feel it. I’m honestly surprised that an indie game could hook me like this. MiSide is a prime example that a great game can be created almost single-handedly. You don’t need a $30-60M budget, over ten years of development, a massive team, or top-tier hardware to make it work — only for it to still drop to 15 FPS on release.

My only regret is not buying the extended version. The devs did an amazing job and deserve support. So, if you’ve got $15 lying around and want to spend an evening playing an unusual and intriguing game that hides a chilling nightmare and a sense of hopelessness behind its candy-coated facade, I highly recommend it!

Honestly, I don’t get the hate toward the game. Those who say it’s just for teenagers probably didn’t even spend an hour playing it.

Anyway, give it a try! And no, this isn’t an ad. I mean, who in their right mind would sponsor a channel with 3k subscribers? Especially through community posts! 😄
