After gaining some recognition from his first release "New Stylie”, which premiered on BBC 1XTRA Diplo & Friends, Jamaican artist/producer Noah Issa has continued to deliver his own unique blend of reggae, dancehall, hip hop and electronic music.
”New Stylie”, a fusion of dancehall, dub, trap and experimental EDM that perpetually reinvents and re-styles itself ahead of an ethereal, dream-like climax, pushes the limits of creative sound design and rhythmical complexity. Noah’s following release “Broken Wings” was the first track to feature Noah’s vocals and showed us a more ethereal and experimental side of his artistry. The song has a transcendental feel, with psychedelic textures combined with sounds of the trombone and bass guitar, creating a form of alternative dub/reggae.
