Hi! Iām Michelle Perkett, founder of Michelle Perkett Studio, based in Southern California. I create whimsical and colorful inspirational art. Iām a teacher, mixed media artist, floral painter, art journaler and āJesus Girlā painter. So what exactly is a Jesus Girl?
While recovering from chemotherapy in 2021 I slowing began creating again and sketching whimsical girls in my journals. When I started painting them, they started to come alive with color. This exactly is how I felt after having cancer, that I was coming back to life too and only because of the love of God in my life, feeling like His special little āJesus Girlā every time I created one. To me they represent the love, peace and joy of God in all of us and I am definitely at my happiest when Iām creating them.
I will mostly be sharing these paintings on my channel as well as my pet friends. I started a Petsitting business in 1998 and my art business in 2004 and they go together perfectly, thanks for watching!
