My name is Katya and I am a self-taught artist. I started my creative journey with watercolor painting 7 years ago, and now I am discovering my creative potential as a mixed media artist using watercolor, gouache and colored pencils.

Painting at one time helped me change my profession from a programmer to a UI/UX designer, receive support from like-minded people and became a support for me in moments of emotional distresses. Creativity has become my way of understanding the world, expressing the beauty and emotions that surround us, and also a way of getting to know the real me.

Perhaps most of all, I am grateful to creativity for the fact that it allowed me to form my unique space inside me, and then, step by step, bring it to the outside world. Perhaps I can inspire some of you on your own creative journey or bring some peace through painting of a slow life 🧘‍♀️
