The Institute for Science and Human Values (ISHV) is a leading secular humanist advocacy and educational nonprofit. Its mission is "to test knowledge by science and reason and to develop ethical values, without religious foundations, that are relevant to the human condition." Philosopher Paul Kurtz, prolific author, publisher, and "father of the secular humanist movement," is the visionary founder of ISHV. One way ISHV fulfills it mission is by producing symposia and conferences featuring thought-leaders exploring vital questions of the day about what it means to live life at the intersection of science and human values. ISHV publishes video of these events for free, in the public interest, through this channel. Another is the mission of the Institute for Science and Human Values Public Policy Office to elevate reason and science in law and public policy. Please join ISHV to further the recognition of secular humanism community and movement at www.ishv.org.
