Holly Rhiannon, a lifelong writer from Winnipeg, Manitoba, grew up creating indoors to escape extreme cold. During her years there, she became a certified photographer, studied Fine Arts at the University of Manitoba, organized a successful alternative art event, and self-published one novella and two graphic novels.
Like many artists from Winnipeg, Holly later moved away, relocating to Montreal in 2015, where she revitalized her creative brand, especially in literature. Today, Holly is the founder and CEO of small press The Stygian Society, and supports her fellow writers through her YouTube channel and Discord.
Her novel, A Time When Demons, was published in 2022, and her poetry appears in The Stygian Collection. Holly also contributes to The Stygian Zine. In 2024, she stepped down as Montreal Municipal Liaison for NaNoWriMo due to their stance on generative AI and launched her own challenge 'The Order of the Written Word'.
