Ahoy there, funkineer. You may be wondering where the next FUNKe video is, or why I began this post with 'Ahoy there'. Well, here's the good news: I'll have a video ready this weekend, and for you grizzled veterans it's more or less a return to the FUNKtv structure; breaking down a type of media I like, with lots of animated commentary. Here's the bad news: I'm not sure why I said 'ahoy' earlier. If you wanted an answer for that, you best keep sailin' fer one elsewhere.
When will it be out? Well, Sunday the 26th is looking good. Anything sooner be hard to promise.

(For Patrons/Twitch Subscribers who have kept up with my updates: This is NOT the larger video i've been working on since last year. That project has been split into multiple videos, and this upcoming upload is sort of the cutting room floor for that. This way, I can gush about Junji Ito all I want without soaking up the wordcount in my original animation stuff, whenever that may be.)

It's Justyn. I'm going to update you on my next video in THREE(3) simple steps. The first step is, I'm not counting to three. Sorry, the number three and I have a long tumultuous history, and it's not the dolled-up colonial kind of history that brushes over that time when I was awoken by three distinct ghosts of internet's past, present and future warning me on the dangers of elaborative metaphors. They even said something about heeding their warning lest I lose the attention of something, something, and then I fell asleep around that point of their spectral tour. Step two is that my next video is a 40+ minute long FUNKe Study covering lots of Movement Shoooter video games. Now, you might've noticed I put an extra 'o' in there. In this day and age, you can't blame a guy for skirting around a certain search term. Wait. How many 'o's was that? Well shoo-oot. Forget you read anything.
Step two 2. My upcoming FUNKe Study is already fully recorded and mid-editing. There won't be too much animation in it, because that'd require at least three more weeks of work and well you see where this is going. So it'll be less time than that, and if it ends up longer it's probably because the ghosts are back and i'm wastin' my time consulting exorcists when I SHOULD be sat down finishing this video.
There you go. A simple, summarized update in an unspecific number of total steps. You can stop refreshing this channel page now, and go back to using webforums or whatever Weird People Like You Who Check The Community Tab do when you're not doing that. I even managed to cram this all down into a few paragraphs. Wait a tick.. How many is a few?

Justyn Here. Let me tell you, the boys down in PR deserve a R-A-Z-E. That's no misspelling. I've tried to cut their funding four times. Problem is HR keeps stepping in. It's always the Acronym-ed departments that make the most noise. PR, HR, ATF, nothing ever satiates their desires to take me and this business down a PEG. That's another acronym. I won't raise your attention with the explanation, but it's along the lines of something something investment-risk-evaluation. The good news is, we're winning. The Plush campaign, bombastic as ever- a word R&D has repeatedly pleaded me to not use, to no avail, probably because of their imbombastic paperwork- has made it to the finish line. Only 24 hours left now, and I suspect short of a catastrophic-but-unpredictable PR-and-or-HR related event happening, it will cross that finish line. Which means, you've only got about a day left to get one yourself. And unlike acronyms, these plushes are the real thing. No corners cut. The full sentence and then some and then some more because I skipped the page defining what a run-on sentence was.
Are we in agreement? The value here is high, like my position as chief executive officer. But time is short, like, well like something short. So don't regret missing your chance, because this could be the last!
YOU HAVE TWENTY FOUR HOURS LEFT! So buy a plush now, or buy a fire extinguisher and house insurance for later when I find out you never bought one. And trust me, one of those is cheaper and it's not the one you think.

Justyn here. The campaign is going super well. Couldn't be better. Originally I had a joke written, one which refers to a name that rhymes with BED BAZINSKI, but I was forced to remove it. Look, my lawyers are running out of steam here. Just last week we replaced the front wall of the office with a revolving door. That's how often we're replacing the legal team. Six will quit, two will join and then quit a day later. Worst part is, they don't even leave through the revolving door. They take the boring, hinged one next to it. Usually on the way out they say "Stop calling the product a bomb, and stop spending all your budget on new doors".
It's a miracle this operation's still running. Which is all the more reason to buy a BOMBi plush, nothing spells EXCLUSIVE quite like the impending talons of an impartial juror ready to snatch your merchandise off the shelves for its supposed 'morally ambiguous marketing'. Hi. Next video got kicked back multiple times for multiple reasons (ones i've explained elsewhere), so I still can't really give you any definitive release dates yet. It's in editing at the moment, I haven't halted my main videos (I literally could not afford to even if I wanted), so if you're worried about that, there's nothing to sweat. I just wanted to make this post for a few reasons: One is that I won the claim against my outro (Demonetized Again) so I shouldn't have to worry about it getting hit again. I'm fine to use it as I please, and we all got a hearty ironic laugh out of it.
Reason two is that I put up a new 'FUNKe Study' on my other channel; some people are bothered it's not on my main channel and not everyone will see it now, well if you're starved of my content please check it out, it's about a weird as fuck horror rpg inspired by Junji Ito's work (https://youtu.be/rQ4E6ihP2PM)
Last thing (admittedly not important) today's my birthday, I just turned 23. I understand this is old as hell to some of you but i've been doing this a while, I used to be young and spry like yourself. Thanks to everyone who's stuck around through the years (I honestly assumed i'd lose everyone after moving to the gaming essays so i'm relieved people seem to like them). I'm still active around the internet, even if these big videos seem to take longer every release. I'll be back soon enough, arrivederci.

Hi. In an expected turn of events, my self-made outro 'Demonetized Again' was Demonetized. I fought the claim for a month, but it was rejected. My next step is to appeal, which I have, but it's extremely likely they will reject that too, resulting in a copyright strike on my F2NKe channel. All over a definitively fair use parody. This was not by Weezer, either, it seems to be some random copyright squatter. I'm doing what I can to fight it, but you know how this stuff goes.
In a worst-case scenario, they could effectively claim my main channel videos over this too (they have not yet), so i'm understandably upset. I normally wouldn't mention otherwise, but I still have a patreon for this channel and twitch prime for my other stuff if you're in a position to do so. I'll keep you updated on the outcome, hopefully it gets resolved. I'm still working on the next video, expected this month. Thanks.
