Since I painted those butterflies I’ve been absolutely obsessed. They make me so happy to draw and paint. 🙈
I sat down this morning and didn’t really want to draw, but I looked up and saw my mini watercolor painting of a floating head with butterflies.
This little doodle helped me warm up to make art today. I like how the face came out so I may paint it but I’d definitely do something different with the hair.
I’ve been thinking it could be really fun to do a mini series of faces with different colored butterflies! 🦋

Hey there! Did you see Tuesday’s video! This huge painting was quite a labor of love and hate 🥱
But it turned out for the better and I’m really proud of my work.
It’s not quite what I envisioned but I have to start somewhere!
