Captains Marine Online was established in Key West in 1980 by Captain Flynn Smith. Courses offered by Captains Marine Online are approved by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) and the National Maritime Center (NMC). Courses include the OUPV (6pk) as well as the upgrades Mate/Masters (25, 50, 100, 200 ton), Assisted Tow Endorsement, and Auxiliary Sail Endorsement. Captains needing a Marine Radio Operators license (MROP) through the FCC is also offered by Captains Marine. Our goal at Captains Marine is to provide quality instruction coupled with practical exercises that will produce knowledgeable and safe captains.
